Keynote announced: Paul Farmer, CEO Age UK
Join us for this Integrated Care keynote session on digital inclusion with Paul Farmer, chief executive of Age UK, exploring how older members of society are coping with the digital health revolution and how user-centred design is key to serving them.
The proliferation of digital health services and apps assume high levels of digital literacy, particularly among older people, who are the most intensive users of health services. How are they consuming digital health services and what are their experiences? Paul will share findings from recent Age UK studies on digital literacy and patient experience.
Before joining Age UK, Paul was chief executive officer of Mind, the leading mental health charity working in England and Wales, a position he had held since 2006. Paul is a non-executive director for NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board and a member of the NHS Assembly.
